After months of anticipation, spring has finally sprung! As you prepare the indoor and exterior of your home for the warmer months, it's important to keep your plumbing system in mind. Check out a few tips on how you can incorporate plumbing into your spring chores!

Change AC filters.
Spring cleaning is the perfect reminder to swap out our ac filter if you haven't done so. Keep in mind, filters should be changed every four to six weeks when using your system daily.

Check for leaks.
Undetected leaks could lead to big issues. Take this time to check every pipe, sink, hose bib and toilet in your home for leaks. Should you find one, be sure to give us a call. We'll come check it out and get it repaired in no time.

Toilet Roundup.
In addition to leaks, use this as an opportunity to open up your toilet tanks to ensure there are no cracks, leaks, and that your flushers are still working properly. In addition, give your toilet a flush or two to check for a weak flush. This could indicate something is working improperly.

Refresh Garbage Disposal.
If you're the owner of a garbage disposal, you're probably well aware of how handy they can be when entertaining and cleaning up the kitchen. However, it's extremely important to take proper care of them and keep them clean or they can cause a huge headache! Take this time to give your system a bit of TLC including grinding up citrus or ice cubes or, sending a mixture of baking soda and vinegar down.

Should you find any issues with your plumbing system during your spring cleaning, be sure to give Mitch Wright Plumbing Heating and Air a call. One of our friendly technicians will be over right away to help get the issues taken care of. We can be reached by calling 662-349-3547. For more information, visit www.mitchwrightair.com.

"The Right Prescription for Comfort"

Your heating systems are an important part of winter so it is crucial to make sure your furnace is ready to fight off the upcoming cold weather! Wondering where to start? Time, convenience, and efficiency are all important aspects that are taken into consideration when planning your next scheduled service or tune up.

Convenience and timing go hand in hand when it comes to checking out your furnace. The perfect time to get it serviced is before the winter season. Systems are more than likely to break down when they are used regularly (like your furnace in the cold months), and many people forget that until it's too late. By waiting until the middle of winter to get your system checked, the demand on service professionals near your you will rise, and you may not be able to get an appointment within that same day!

Efficiency is the next aspect to consider when scheduling your service and tune up for your heating system. By getting your furnace checked in the fall, the more likely that it will be ready to fight against the cold. Scheduled maintenance increases the longevity of your system and our professionals will check and make sure that your system will continue to run smoothly throughout the winter months!

Dealing with a break down in the middle of winter is certainly not ideal. Fall tune ups and scheduled service are the perfect way to bring you peace of mind during the most stressful months of the year. Annual inspections and servicing your heating system is highly recommended because it not only helps prolong the life of your system, but it also can save you money by reducing energy bills.

While scheduling your winter getaways and family gatherings, don't forget to put Mitch Wright Plumbing Heating and Air on your schedule! We will stop over and make sure your home is ready to go for winter! For more information, visit www.mitchwrightair.com.
