If your one of the lucky individuals out there whose kitchen is equipped with one, we're sure there's plently of times it made cooking and cleaning much easier. However, being the owner of a garbage disposal does leave you with the responsibility of caring for it the correct way. Often times, several items are thrown down the disposal that shouldn't be therefore causing damage and plumbing issues to the system.
